先日、定価５万円のNEC製８インチタブレットを購入しました。解像度は
１９２０ｘ１２００で、Windows１０搭載です。
昨年１２月に出た比較的新しいタブレットですが、１万５千円のたたき売りです。
（昨日は１万１千円で売られていて、これも注文しました・・・あぁ、無駄遣い）

　amazon で「NEC PC-TW708CAS LAVIE Tab W」を検索

Waffle Cellへの接続を前提としているのですが、社内ではこれに２４型モニタ
を接続し、仮想デスクトップと仮想PCを表示します。（一方をタブレット、他方を
２４インチモニタへHDMI端子経由で表示）

モニタ付きのシンクライアントマシンです。さらに取り外して外出すれば、携帯
端末になります。VPN接続で、RDPまたはVNCでの接続です。

通常、シンクライアントマシンは持ち運びはしませんが、こういう使い方のほうが
合理的で安上がりです。

というこで、現在社員全員がこのタブレットを１台ずつ使っています。

※ １つ問題があります。USB端子がひとつしかなく、充電もこの端子を使います。
キーボードとマウスをブルートゥースで接続しないといけません。ハブを利用しても
充電ができないのです・・・

上の書き込みで紹介したNECのタブレットですが、充電兼用のUSBが１つしかないのが致命的です。
（事務所でWaffle Cellのクライアントとして利用する場合、フルサイズのキーボードを使いたい）

Bluetoothのマウスやキーボードを使えばいいのですが、Bluetooth用のキーボードは１０キー付きの
ものが少なく、選択肢も限られてきます。さらに社員の一人は今使っているマウスとキーボードにこ
だわりがあります。

そこでUSBをBluetoothに変換できるものを探しました。これがあれば今までのUSBデバイスをその
まま使えます。そして国内外でみつけました。なんで商品の数がこんなに少ないのでしょうか。需要は
あると思うのですが。

私も最近、ちょうど USB2BT を使って USBキーボードを Bluetooth 化したところでした。
なかなか快適です。組み立てキットを購入して久しぶりにはんだ付けしましたが、なんとかうまくいきました。キーボードに USB ハブがついていたので割りとシンプルな作りになりました。

先輩！目指すはまさにこれです。USB2BTは今日届く予定で、
待ちきれません。

小型のタブレットの性能がバカにできないので、こういう「メイン
マシン」の使い方はかなり理想に近いように思えます。

雑談の中の余談ですが、Windows版VNCクライアントのTigerVNC
Viewerは、RealVNCよりも桁違いに速いことに昨日気が付きました。
近々、記事にする予定です。RDPよりもいいかもしれません。

Amazonで６局同時録画のワンセグチューナーが売られていました。

　型番 ARecX6Tuner

一昨日は４９８０円の激安でした（どうも当初は５万円位だったらしい）

現在開発部員SがWaffle Cellとの連携を確認しています。

１）Waffle Cellに録画データを保存
２）タブレットなどで視聴
３）通常はクラウドにアップロードし、外部から視聴するところをVPNで見られるか確認

私の場合自宅にテレビがないので、会社で録画をし自宅でみる、という使い方をしようか
と思っています。ワンセグ対応のタブレットやスマホの場合、電波の入る位置にいかないと
受信できませんが、このチューナーの場合定位置または八木アンテナへの接続で、この問題
も解消されます。

開発部員Sに期待です。

投資額４９８０円で、ワンセグ６チャンネル同時録画が出来るように
なりました。出先からでもVPN接続で視聴できます。

残念なのがこのチューナー、販売もサポートも終わっていて、在庫
限りだということです。

ちなみにWaffle Cellがあると、クラウドを使う必要がないので、
メーカーが提供する有料クラウドなしで出先から利用できます。

クラウドサービスも近い将来サービスを停止するでしょう。
