Windows, android, ios それぞれからの Wafflecell へ VPN接続 は非常に快適にできているのですが、Linux の VPN クライエント からの VPN接続がどうもうまくいきません。L2TP/IPsec での VPN接続は、Ubuntu の初期状態だと項目がなかったので、色々なサイトを参考にして接続を試みましたがまだうまくいっていません。

通常の作業は、Windows からやっていますので、必要なわけではないのですが、うまく行くと面白いなと思っているわけです。

というのも、最近、Windows から Wafflecell の仮想PCへアクセスして作業することがほとんどだったのですが、興味半分で、USB に Puppy Linux をインストールして Remmina で仮想PCへアクセスして作業してみました。これが思いの他、動作も軽くて使いやすかったので、この Puppy Linux で VPN接続ができれば外からも使えるよういになるので、さぞかし面白いだろうと思ったからです。

素直に、Windows や android で接続すれば全く問題ないのですが、もし、可能でしたら御教授していただけたらうれしいです。

Linux系からのVPN接続ですが、かなりやっかいであるようです。
説明書にLinux系OS（例えばUbuntu）からのVPN接続の説明が無いのはそのためです。

WaffleCellはUbuntuをベースにしているのですが、Ubuntuを入れたPCからはVPN接続できない、
という妙な話になっています。

私も会社ではUbuntuを入れたPCから、仮想環境にアクセスして仕事をしています。会社は
WaffleCellと同じLAN内なのでVPNは不要です。
自宅でもUbuntuベースのマシーンから仮想環境にアクセスしようと思ったことがあるのですが、
開発から「UbuntuのVPN接続は無理！」と言われて断念しています。

また、もしもChromeOS（Cromium）が入るのであれば、それを使うというのも選択肢としては有り
だと思います。

まあ、でも同一LAN内からだとかなり使いやすい Puppy Linux ( Puppy Vivid 6.5) という遊び道具をみつけたので、
しばらく遊んでみたいと思います。
